In this evolving context, consistent communication through different channels is crucial. That is why we are looking for a Brand & guidelines designer. Someone who will create and manage all bpost group brand assets and assure the implementation of these guidelines in line with the communication strategy. Someone who will design, promote and inspire this bpost group identity transversally.


We are looking for a highly talented and creative brand & guidelines designer with strong digital skills who is willing to join us in further building our brands. If you have a passion for marketing and lifestyle brands no look further. Under the guidance of the Head of group brand team, the Brand & guidelines designer will be responsible to craft & manage the look & feel of the group brand. You’re work involves good collaboration with your team and your colleagues within and outside group communication.


Your mission

The Brand & guidelines designer will be responsible to craft and manage all brand assets, the related platform and its guidelines (for the group and subs).

  • You contribute in an inspiring way to the development and management of the brand assets and coach every departments or target audience in applying them.
  • You are responsible to translate the brand strategy into new brand assets & actionable/easy to use guidelines.
  • You (re)Design existing assets based on importance
  • You coordinate & follow up brand asset needs for team members & external specialist parties and coach them in applying the brand book
  • You provide training platforms to ensure continued embedding of the brand book & guidelines
  • You spot check for infractions on the brand identity in order to escalate them to the brand board
  • You are responsible for and manage the bpostgroup assetbank (set-up, feed, document & promotion of the platform) !
  • You measure and adapt the brand asset platform in order to assess the impact of the information.
  • You advise on the communication approach, detect possible reputation risks and provide support to the business regarding the quality of its communication.


Your profile

In your role as Brand & guidelines designer, you are clearly a dynamic team player who combines solid strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. We highlight the following qualities:

  • You have a positive and open mindset. You like to work together with others, and you are strong in building relationships (within the team and within the whole group).
  • You are a true team player and naturally work together cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders (inc agencies) to execute your plans.
  • You don't think in terms of problems, but in terms of creative, flexible and efficient solutions.
  • You have experience in project management.
  • You can work under pressure, with an eye for details (also for infractions on the brand identity) all this within tight deadlines.
  • You have an international perspective, and you are sensitive to cultural issues.
  • You have an excellent understanding of the marketing mix and creativity to think out of the box.
  • You can translate consumer insights, market trends and the positioning, vision and goals of the company into actionable and relevant brand assets and communication plans.
  • You have a proven track record (at least 3 years of experience) in executing clear & actionable/easy to use guidelines.
  • You are able to coach or provide training platforms to ensure continued embedding of the brand book & guidelines

Communication is often in English, but if you also want to reach our mailmen/woman, you should be able to communicate fluently in Dutch and French.


The position is based in Brussels but will require participation to shootings, store checks or meetings inside/outside Brussels or Belgium and outside normal office hours.
