About this opportunity
PDG IMS Gateways is a multi-national development organization having design ownership for IMS Gateways products in native, virtual and cloud native domain. Design owner ship with active development includes the following products: CN-IMS (cSBG, cBGF and cNSDS), vSBC (vSBG, vBGF, vNSDS, vWA), vMRF as well as native M-MGw/MRS products.
What you will do
- In Gateways we believe working in Agile teams, so you must be working closely with your team members and also in close collaboration with other teams in the community.
- Be an owner of the implemented functionality: from design and implementation, testing to production, troubleshooting and documentation.
- Be responsible for the quality of the technical solution, functionally test the implemented solution
You will bring
- MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science or related
- To be a proven quick leaner in technical domains
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English (writing & speaking)
- Pragmatic problem solving
- Strong team spirit and being self-motivated
- You are not afraid of challenging the status quo and bring new ideas to the table
- To be open minded and willing to take challenges
It is an advantage if you have:
Knowledge of a functional language- Experience in use of development management systems and build tools preferably Jenkins, Artifactory, Gerrit, Git, Bazel, Cmake
- Good understanding of Microservices architectures
- Prior hands-on experience in developing and deploying microservices solutions on Cloud infrastructure
- Expertise in the relevant Cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience using and developing scalable real time solutions
- You have some knowledge of the telecommunication network domain, or willing to learn
